Auction result well in line with expectations

In March 2000 Christies in London held the auction The Contents of Grimshaw Hall, which included the work Still life of mixed flowers in a bowl on a draped ledge, with a basket of flowers in a landscape by Gaspar Lopez. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 10,925.00 (€ 18,168.77) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Gaspar Lopez have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An Outdoor Still Life With Flowers On A Fountain And On A Ledge; An Outdoor Still Life With Flowers In A Vase On A Ledge, A Straw Hat Filled With Fruit On The Floor in July 2013 with an auction result of GBP 74,500.00 (€ 85,129.24).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Im März 2000 führte Christies in London die Auktion The Contents of Grimshaw Hall durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still life of mixed flowers in a bowl on a draped ledge, with a basket of flowers in a landscape von Gaspar Lopez zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 10.925,00 (€ 18.168,77) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
