The work Untitled by Gego was sold in the Latin America: Modern Art auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2015. The result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 28,403.71) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gego achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dibujo sin papel 85/13 in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 701,000.00 (€ 637,620.52).

Die Arbeit Untitled von Gego wurde im November 2015 in der Auktion Latin America: Modern Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 28.403,71) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gego erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dibujo sin papel 85/13 im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 701.000,00 (€ 637.620,52).
