A top price for Gego - as previously expected
The work Dibujo sin papel 85/13 by Gego was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2015. The price achieved of USD 701,000.00 (€ 637,620.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 600,000.00 – 800,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Dibujo sin papel 85/13 is the most expensive artwork by Gego that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Dibujo sin papel 85/13 von Gego kam im Mai 2015 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 701.000,00 (€ 637.620,52) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 600.000,00 – 800.000,00 angegeben worden.
