Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Le guitariste by Gen Paul was auctioned at Christies in London in February 2019. The price achieved of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,498.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gen Paul have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Joueur De Guitare, Circa 1925 in April 2008 with an auction result of EUR 172,249.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Le guitariste von Gen Paul kam im Februar 2019 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.498,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gen Paul auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Joueur De Guitare, Circa 1925 im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 172.249,00.
