The work The Seance by Genieve Figgis was auctioned at Christies in January last year. It achieved a price of HKD 1,187,500.00 (€ 135,886.77), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 32%. Admittedly, works by Genieve Figgis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Debutants Ball in March last year with an auction result of CNY 4,032,000.00 (€ 573,196.07).

Die Arbeit The Seance von Genieve Figgis kam im Januar letzten Jahres bei Christies zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 1.187.500,00 (€ 135.886,77) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 32%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Genieve Figgis auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Debutants Ball im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 4.032.000,00 (€ 573.196,07).
