Auction result well in line with expectations

The work Arrivée Du Lombardia À Massaoua En 1935 by Geo Ham was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in June 2018. The price achieved of EUR 2,080.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Geo Ham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Monaco, 1936 in November 2015 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 28,487.03).

Die Arbeit Arrivée Du Lombardia À Massaoua En 1935 von Geo Ham kam im Juni 2018 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.080,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Geo Ham erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Monaco, 1936 im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 28.487,03).
