A top price for George Baxter - as previously expected
The work Gems of The Crystal Palace, Sydenham (The Exterior) by George Baxter was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2006. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 420.00 (€ 601.78) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Gems of The Crystal Palace, Sydenham (The Exterior) is the most expensive artwork by George Baxter that we have observed at auctions so far.
