The work Knieender Weiblicher Akt by George Grosz was auctioned at Il Ponte in May this year. The result of EUR 700.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 700.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George Grosz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gefährliche Straße in February 2020 with an auction result of GBP 9,740,250.00 (€ 11,288,971.84).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Knieender Weiblicher Akt von George Grosz kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Il Ponte zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 700,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 700,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von George Grosz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gefährliche Straße im Februar 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.740.250,00 (€ 11.288.971,84).
