This artwork by Georgy Artemov achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in June 2017. In the Russian Art auction, the work Seated nude sold for GBP 118,750.00 (€ 135,234.09) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 50,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Georgy Artemov; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Reclining nude sold at auction in November 2011 with the realized price of GBP 121,250.00 (€ 141,546.96).

Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen

Dieses Kunstwerk von Georgy Artemov erzielte im Juni 2017 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Russian Art wurde die Arbeit Seated nude für GBP 118.750,00 (€ 135.234,09) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 50.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Georgy Artemov; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Reclining nude im November 2011 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 121.250,00 (€ 141.546,96).
