Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Douglas Haig, 1St Earl Haig, Field Marshal On A Triumphal March Through London To Celebrate The Armistice by Georges Bertin Scott was auctioned at Christies in London in August 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 625.00 (€ 755.57) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georges Bertin Scott achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Charge in April 2006 with an auction result of USD 90,000.00 (€ 71,292.78).

Die Arbeit Douglas Haig, 1St Earl Haig, Field Marshal On A Triumphal March Through London To Celebrate The Armistice von Georges Bertin Scott kam im August 2010 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 625,00 (€ 755,57) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
