Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flowers and fruit by Georges Jeannin was sold in the 19th Century European Art auction at Christies in London in March 2017. The price achieved of GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,222.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Georges Jeannin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Roses in September 2013 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,906.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flowers and fruit von Georges Jeannin wurde im März 2017 in der Auktion 19th Century European Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.222,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Georges Jeannin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Roses im September 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.906,91).
