This artwork by Georges Jeannin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in October 2008. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Still life of a vase of roses sold for USD 7,750.00 (€ 6,111.02) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Georges Jeannin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Roses, which sold at auction in September 2013 for GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,906.91).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Georges Jeannin erzielte im Oktober 2008 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wurde die Arbeit Still life of a vase of roses für USD 7.750,00 (€ 6.111,02) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Georges Jeannin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Roses beobachtet, die im September 2013 für GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.906,91) versteigert wurde.
