In November 2020 Bonhams in London held the auction The Greek Sale, which included the work Portrait of a Boy by Georgios Mavroidis. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 5,100.00 (€ 5,693.32), 70% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Georgios Mavroidis; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Figures sold at auction in November 2018 with the realized price of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,279.70).

Im November 2020 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion The Greek Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait of a Boy von Georgios Mavroidis zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 5.100,00 (€ 5.693,32) und damit 70% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Georgios Mavroidis; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Figures im November 2018 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.279,70).
