Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Gianni Berengo Gardin could be acquired at Christies in London in June 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Masterworks of Italian Photography 1945-1975 From the Collection of Paolo Morello auction, the work Venezia, Santa Maria della Salute, 1954 changed hands for GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,321.70) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gianni Berengo Gardin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vaporetto, 1960 in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 29,408.15).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne

In der Auktion Masterworks of Italian Photography 1945-1975 From the Collection of Paolo Morello wechselte die Arbeit Venezia, Santa Maria della Salute, 1954 für GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.321,70) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00.
