Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work The Judgement of Paris by Giorgio Ghisi for GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,091.42). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master Prints at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Giorgio Ghisi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An Allegory Of Life ('The Dream Of Raphael') (B. 67; Lewis 28) in December 2013 with an auction result of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 19,546.23).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Judgement of Paris von Giorgio Ghisi für GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.091,42) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master Prints bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giorgio Ghisi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit An Allegory Of Life ('The Dream Of Raphael') (B. 67; Lewis 28) im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 19.546,23).
