Auction result misses estimated price range
In March this year a collector was able to acquire the work Harlequin painter, 1760 circa by Giovanni Domenico Ferretti for EUR 5,000.00. This price was achieved in the auction Furniture and Old Master Paintings at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 6,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Domenico Ferretti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Christ Driving The Money Lenders From The Temple in January 2016 with an auction result of USD 162,500.00 (€ 150,018.46).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Harlequin painter, 1760 circa von Giovanni Domenico Ferretti für EUR 5.000,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Furniture and Old Master Paintings bei Il Ponte erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giovanni Domenico Ferretti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Christ Driving The Money Lenders From The Temple im Januar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 162.500,00 (€ 150.018,46).
