Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Giovanni Anselmo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in October 2011. In the 20th Century Italian Art Including Italian Identity - an Important Private Collection auction, the work Infinito sold for GBP 46,850.00 (€ 54,219.96) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Anselmo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Torsione in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 6,437,000.00 (€ 5,855,011.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Giovanni Anselmo erzielte im Oktober 2011 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century Italian Art Including Italian Identity - an Important Private Collection wurde die Arbeit Infinito für GBP 46.850,00 (€ 54.219,96) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 18.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giovanni Anselmo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Torsione im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.437.000,00 (€ 5.855.011,82).
