In January 2014 Sothebys in New York held the auction The Courts of Europe, which included the work Diana And Actaeon by Giovanni Balducci. The price achieved of USD 81,250.00 (€ 60,185.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Diana And Actaeon is the most expensive artwork by Giovanni Balducci that we have observed at auctions so far.
