Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2005 Christies in Geneva held the auction SCHWEIZER KUNST, which included the work Diego, Um 1918 by Giovanni Giacometti. The price achieved of CHF 66,000.00 (€ 42,575.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CHF 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Giacometti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Panorama von Flims. 1904. in June 2016 with an auction result of CHF 4,045,500.00 (€ 3,744,801.12).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2005 führte Christies in Genf die Auktion SCHWEIZER KUNST durch, in der auch die Arbeit Diego, Um 1918 von Giovanni Giacometti zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CHF 66.000,00 (€ 42.575,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CHF 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giovanni Giacometti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Panorama von Flims. 1904. im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 4.045.500,00 (€ 3.744.801,12).
