Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The death of Saint Anne by Giulia Lama was sold in the Old Master Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in April last year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 12,600.00 (€ 15,025.05). Admittedly, works by Giulia Lama have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Saturn Devouring His Child in June 2011 with an auction result of USD 98,500.00 (€ 67,823.45).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The death of Saint Anne von Giulia Lama wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Old Master Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 12.600,00 (€ 15.025,05) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giulia Lama auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Saturn Devouring His Child im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 98.500,00 (€ 67.823,45).
