In June 2008 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Old Master Paintings and Drawings, which included the work Vue Des Environs De Gênes Sur La Rive Droite Du Bisagno by Giuseppe Pietro Bagetti. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 19,950.00 33% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Giuseppe Pietro Bagetti have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Due vedute del Castello Ducale di Agliè in November 2007 with an auction result of EUR 88,400.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 33 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2008 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Old Master Paintings and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vue Des Environs De Gênes Sur La Rive Droite Du Bisagno von Giuseppe Pietro Bagetti zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 19.950,00 und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giuseppe Pietro Bagetti auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Due vedute del Castello Ducale di Agliè im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 88.400,00.
