This work without title by Golnaz Fathi was sold in the Hurouf: The Art of The Word auction at Sothebys in Doha in December 2010. It achieved a price of USD 30,000.00 (€ 22,609.09), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Golnaz Fathi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Unwritten sold at auction in October 2007 with the realized price of USD 55,000.00 (€ 38,014.93).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 22.609,09) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Golnaz Fathi; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Unwritten im Oktober 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 55.000,00 (€ 38.014,93).
