The work Untitled, New York, N.Y. by Gordon Parks was sold in the Tailor-Made: Fashion Photographs from the Collection of Peter Fetterman auction at Phillips in an online auction in June 2020. The price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,564.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gordon Parks - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work American Gothic, Washington D.C., which sold at auction in October last year for USD 21,420.00 (€ 21,562.31).
