Auction result misses estimated price range
In August 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work These Colors Don't Fade or Run by Gordon Snidow for USD 17,812.50 (€ 15,095.34). This price was achieved in the auction Western Art at Bonhams in Los Angeles and was even below the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gordon Snidow - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The American Beauty, which sold at auction in August 2021 for USD 37,812.50 (€ 32,044.49).
