Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 960.00 (€ 805.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gortzius Geldorp achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Virgin And Child With Saint Anne in May 2019 with an auction result of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 19,808.95).
