Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 4,462.50 (€ 3,953.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gottardo Fidele Ponziano Piazzoni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Marin Hills in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 21,325.00 (€ 18,309.44).
