Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2004 Christies in London held the auction Sporting Art and Dogs, which included the work The fox, the hound and the huntsman by Graham Isom. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,075.50 (€ 1,600.67) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Graham Isom have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2004 the work Taking The Lead was auctioned for GBP 2,151.00 (€ 3,094.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion Sporting Art and Dogs durch, in der auch die Arbeit The fox, the hound and the huntsman von Graham Isom zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.075,50 (€ 1.600,67) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Graham Isom konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2004 die Arbeit Taking The Lead für GBP 2.151,00 (€ 3.094,20) versteigert.
