In the The Evill/Frost Collection I auction, the work The Crucifixion sold for GBP 713,250.00 (€ 789,078.55) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 250,000.00. This high result makes The Crucifixion the most expensive artwork by Graham Sutherland that we have observed at auctions so far.
