A top price for Gu Chun
The work Calligraphy Couplet In Kaishu by Gu Chun was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 52,500.00 (€ 6,196.88). With this result, Calligraphy Couplet In Kaishu is even the most expensive work of art by Gu Chun that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Kaishu von Gu Chun kam im April 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 52.500,00 (€ 6.196,88) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Calligraphy Couplet In Kaishu sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Gu Chun, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
