In the Old Master and 19th Century Paintings and Drawings, Sculptures, Frames auction, the work Frise De Faunes Et De Bacchantes, D'Après Un Bas-Relief Antique sold for EUR 1,820.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guillaume Boichot achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Un album de 34 dessins, dont quinze illustrant l'Histoire d'Hérodote, six l'Histoire grecque de Theucydide, sept Xénophon et six autres dessins in March 2004 with an auction result of EUR 22,325.00.
