Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Winter scene from Glava by Gustaf Edolf Fjaestad for SEK 135,000.00 (€ 12,913.85). This price was achieved in the auction Important Spring Sale at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 175,000.00 – 200,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Gustaf Edolf Fjaestad have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Winterlandschaft. 1908. in July 2020 with an auction result of CHF 97,900.00 (€ 91,239.74).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Winter scene from Glava von Gustaf Edolf Fjaestad für SEK 135.000,00 (€ 12.913,85) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Important Spring Sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 175.000,00 – 200.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gustaf Edolf Fjaestad auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Winterlandschaft. 1908. im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 97.900,00 (€ 91.239,74).
