In June 2010 Sothebys in Zurich held the auction Schweizer Kunst / Swiss Art, which included the work Winterlandschaft Bei Klosters, 1914 by Hans Beat Wieland. The »bidding war« ended at CHF 11,250.00 (€ 8,494.94), 61% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hans Beat Wieland - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Gebirgslandschaft (Piz Palü), 1898 Mountain View (Mount Palü), 1898, which sold at auction in November 2011 for CHF 30,000.00 (€ 24,487.47).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 61 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2010 führte Sothebys in Zürich die Auktion Schweizer Kunst / Swiss Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Winterlandschaft Bei Klosters, 1914 von Hans Beat Wieland zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von CHF 11.250,00 (€ 8.494,94) und damit 61% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Hans Beat Wieland mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Gebirgslandschaft (Piz Palü), 1898 Mountain View (Mount Palü), 1898 beobachtet, die im November 2011 für CHF 30.000,00 (€ 24.487,47) versteigert wurde.
