In April 2007 Christies in Paris held the auction Intérieurs, which included the work Scène érotique by Hans Bellmer. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 240.00 60% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hans Bellmer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Self-Portrait With Die Puppe in October 2012 with an auction result of USD 374,500.00 (€ 289,010.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 60 % übertroffen
Im April 2007 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Intérieurs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Scène érotique von Hans Bellmer zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 240,00 und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hans Bellmer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Self-Portrait With Die Puppe im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 374.500,00 (€ 289.010,65).
