Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,534.42), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. Admittedly, works by Hans Dahl have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The model and the artist in June last year with an auction result of SEK 560,000.00 (€ 51,726.05).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Norwegian Den Unge Slåttekaren (The Young Harvester) von Hans Dahl kam im Juni 2009 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.534,42) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hans Dahl auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The model and the artist im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 560.000,00 (€ 51.726,05).
