In May 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction The Scandinavian Sale, which included the work Norwegian Fra En Norsk Vestlandsfjord (Summer In The Fjord) by Hans Dahl. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 10,625.00 (€ 13,515.46), 33% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hans Dahl - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The model and the artist, which sold at auction in June last year for SEK 560,000.00 (€ 51,726.05).

Im Mai 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Scandinavian Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Norwegian Fra En Norsk Vestlandsfjord (Summer In The Fjord) von Hans Dahl zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 10.625,00 (€ 13.515,46) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Hans Dahl mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The model and the artist beobachtet, die im Juni letzten Jahres für SEK 560.000,00 (€ 51.726,05) versteigert wurde.
