Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work The Dressmaker by Harry Roseland for USD 18,750.00 (€ 16,798.06). This price was achieved in the auction American Art at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Harry Roseland have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Beach At Coney Island in September 2008 with an auction result of USD 134,500.00 (€ 95,518.78).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Dressmaker von Harry Roseland für USD 18.750,00 (€ 16.798,06) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion American Art bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Harry Roseland auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Beach At Coney Island im September 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 134.500,00 (€ 95.518,78).
