Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Drei Mädchen (Der Lieben Maus Gaul Vom Alten Zille) by Heinrich Zille was sold in the The Golden Twenties: Berlin through the Eyes of Modern Artists auction at Christies in London in November 2020. The price achieved of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,349.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Heinrich Zille have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Weeste, Orje, Du loofst ja wie een Sieb'nmonatskind in December 2017 with an auction result of EUR 65,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Drei Mädchen (Der Lieben Maus Gaul Vom Alten Zille) von Heinrich Zille wurde im November 2020 in der Auktion The Golden Twenties: Berlin through the Eyes of Modern Artists bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 15.349,64) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Heinrich Zille auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Weeste, Orje, Du loofst ja wie een Sieb'nmonatskind im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 65.000,00.
