Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction Blazing a TrailModern British Women, which included the work Uncle Tom's Funeral Procession by Helen Bradley. The price achieved of GBP 50,250.00 (€ 58,466.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Helen Bradley - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Oh it's the King and Queen, which sold at auction in April 2019 for GBP 162,500.00 (€ 189,034.46).
