Auction result well in line with expectations

In October 2007 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Homage to Serge Férat: Haba et Alban Roussot Collection, which included the work Animaux Marins by Hélène D'Oettingen. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,983.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hélène D'Oettingen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paysage in October 2008 with an auction result of EUR 89,250.00.

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Im Oktober 2007 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Homage to Serge Férat: Haba et Alban Roussot Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Animaux Marins von Hélène D'Oettingen zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.983,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hélène D'Oettingen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paysage im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 89.250,00.
