This artwork by Hendrik Jacobsz. Dubbels achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2002. In the OLD MASTER PICTURES auction, the work Moored ships in a calm, fisherfolk on a jetty nearby sold for EUR 28,680.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 16,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hendrik Jacobsz. Dubbels - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A winter landscape with figures skating, cottages and a church beyond, which sold at auction in December 2008 for GBP 70,850.00 (€ 74,413.12).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Hendrik Jacobsz. Dubbels erzielte im November 2002 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion OLD MASTER PICTURES wurde die Arbeit Moored ships in a calm, fisherfolk on a jetty nearby für EUR 28.680,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 16.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Hendrik Jacobsz. Dubbels mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A winter landscape with figures skating, cottages and a church beyond beobachtet, die im Dezember 2008 für GBP 70.850,00 (€ 74.413,12) versteigert wurde.
