Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2013 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction The Decorative Arts Sale incl. Fine Paintings, which included the work In lieu of rent by Jean Henri de Coene. The price achieved of EUR 2,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jean Henri de Coene - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait De Victoire Du Bois, which sold at auction in February 2013 for USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,645.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2013 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion The Decorative Arts Sale incl. Fine Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit In lieu of rent von Jean Henri de Coene zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jean Henri de Coene mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait De Victoire Du Bois beobachtet, die im Februar 2013 für USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.645,84) versteigert wurde.
