Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Etude De Nu Féminin by Henri Léopold Lévy was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in September 2018, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 200.00 – 300.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 156.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henri Léopold Lévy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Aphrodite And Eros; And Dionysus And Ariadne in September 2015 with an auction result of GBP 60,000.00 (€ 81,254.26).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Etude De Nu Féminin von Henri Léopold Lévy im September 2018 bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 200,00 – 300,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 156,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henri Léopold Lévy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Aphrodite And Eros; And Dionysus And Ariadne im September 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 60.000,00 (€ 81.254,26).
