Auction result well in line with expectations
In February this year Christies in New York held the auction European Art, which included the work 'Polydora', 'Annette', 'Salisbury', 'Polyxena', Mares Belonging to Earl Spencer by Henry Barraud. The price achieved of USD 56,700.00 (€ 53,480.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Other works by Henry Barraud have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2006 the work Two Bay Hunters In An Extensive Landscape was auctioned for GBP 37,200.00 (€ 53,827.78).

Im Februar diesen Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'Polydora', 'Annette', 'Salisbury', 'Polyxena', Mares Belonging to Earl Spencer von Henry Barraud zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 56.700,00 (€ 53.480,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden.
