In the The Gordon Collection of Portrait Miniatures auction, the work Hester Frances, Lady Bellingham (1763-1844), in white dress with white muslin fichu, white frilled shawl across arms, white bandeau in her upswept powdered, curling hair; pillar and landscape background sold for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 7,876.46) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Henry Edridge; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Nôtre Dame And Pont Marie From The Pont du Jardin du Roi, Paris, France sold at auction in November 2006 with the realized price of GBP 10,200.00 (€ 15,147.32).
