A top price for Herman Rose
When the work Brooklyn Ferry by Herman Rose was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in April 2021, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - USD 2,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than four times as high at USD 8,190.00 (€ 6,807.98). This high result makes Brooklyn Ferry the most expensive artwork by Herman Rose that we have observed at auctions so far.

Als die Arbeit Brooklyn Ferry von Herman Rose im April 2021 bei Sothebys in New York versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches.
