Hirshhorn: Collector for a Nation, Part II auction, the work Orpheus, Homage To Poet Edward Field sold for USD 5,292.00 (€ 4,399.00) - well above the upper estimate of USD 2,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Herman Rose; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Flowers On A Chair sold at auction in April 2021 with the realized price of USD 8,190.00 (€ 6,807.98).
