Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Paiaje Con Árbol, Pollença, Mallorca by Hermenegildo Anglada Camarasa was sold in the 19th Century European & Orientalist Art auction at Christies in London in December 2015. It changed hands for a price of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 25,461.60) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hermenegildo Anglada Camarasa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work El Casino de París in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 2,924,000.00.
