Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Contemplation by Heva Coomans was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2019. The price achieved of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,545.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 4,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Heva Coomans - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work An offering to the goddess, which sold at auction in March 2001 for USD 10,575.00 (€ 12,025.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Contemplation von Heva Coomans kam im Dezember 2019 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.545,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Heva Coomans mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit An offering to the goddess beobachtet, die im März 2001 für USD 10.575,00 (€ 12.025,24) versteigert wurde.
