Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Feed the Birds by Hiroshi Tagami was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of USD 832.00 (€ 767.60) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hiroshi Tagami - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Wind Song, which sold at auction in August this year for USD 1,792.00 (€ 1,653.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Feed the Birds von Hiroshi Tagami kam im August diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 832,00 (€ 767,60) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Hiroshi Tagami mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Wind Song beobachtet, die im August diesen Jahres für USD 1.792,00 (€ 1.653,29) versteigert wurde.
