Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Construction Site by Hosni Banani for GBP 937.50 (€ 1,044.46). This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online Sale at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hosni Banani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La danse in November 2010 with an auction result of EUR 51,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Construction Site von Hosni Banani für GBP 937,50 (€ 1.044,46) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online Sale bei Bonhams in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hosni Banani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La danse im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 51.400,00.
